Red Ribbon Week – October 27-31

Red Ribbon Week

October 27-31, 2014

“My Character Counts, I’m Drug-Free”
Drug Enforcement Agent Enriqué Camarena’s death created a worldwide rallying cry against drug abuse when he lost his life to Mexican drug traffickers in 1985. Red Ribbon Week has become a tribute to Agent Camarena. It remains a time for gratitude for all lives that remain drug-free and a time to pledge to live a safe and drug-free life.

Remind your child to wear black & orange on THURSDAY, 10/30 for “Say BOO To Drugs” Day in support of Red Ribbon Week.

Red Ribbon Week is sponsored by the Trumbull PTSA Council’s PACT Prevention Committee, in cooperation with, Trumbull Public Schools, Trumbull Partnership Against Underage Drinking, Trumbull Counseling Center, Trumbull Cares: The First Selectman’s Prevention Council & THS Interact Club
